About the Owner

Welcome to J Thomas Homes. My passion for construction started as a kid watching my blue-collar dad build and craft with his hands. After high school, I earned a Construction Engineering degree from Pittsburg State University, graduating with honors.

I have been involved in all facets of construction for more than 20 years, from summer construction jobs to full-time employment with some of the leading construction firms in NW Arkansas. My managed projects ranged from small remodels to commercial construction projects totaling over 40 million dollars and everything in between. Throughout my career I have managed a portfolio of more than $250,000,000 of construction projects as either a Superintendent, Project Manager, or Senior Project Manager, and now owner of my own company.

I have been building homes in NW Arkansas since 2016, first for myself, then for family, and now for friends and others.

In addition to my experience and education, I earned a Certified Professional Constructor recognition from the American Institute of Constructors. I have completed OSHA 10-hour and 30- hour training courses. Finally, I have completed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design coursework and was a LEED Accredited Professional, which equips me with the knowledge and expertise to implement green building practices in my construction projects.
